About Us

Established 1999

At Peak, we are passionate about solving problems! From determining how best to integrate new technology, to finding the right solutions to ease our customer’s lives, we always strive to be better!

Our History

My family moved to California from Hawaii when I was 12 to provide better medical care for my mother. There was seven of us and my father, who was a real estate broker in Hawaii, was our only source of income.  Not having an RE license in California, my father went to work at a plastics company to support his family.  There was little money for anything but necessities and my parents kept us out of trouble by piling us into the family vehicle every weekend to buy small tropical fish.  We kept plastic bowls filled with guppies and neon fish on our wood picnic table in the small three-bedroom apartment in Daly City. At night, after my father’s shift was over, he would make small fish tanks out of scrap plastic to replace our plastic bowls.  They were beautiful and the corners were bent with a large radius so the small fish swimming around the tank could always be seen.  Without his knowledge, my mother took the tanks to all the fish stores we frequented and they loved them!  In 1969, what was eventually to become Peak Technology Enterprises, was born making fish tanks that were distributed all over the United States!

Since 1999 I have been the steward of my father’s legacy.  He has been gone since 2000, and fish tanks have not been part of my inventory for many years.  Since then Peak has grown and evolved through the years to become a robust manufacturing company, servicing semiconductor, medical, solar, and everything in-between.

This is Jill St. John in “Diamonds Are Forever”, the last James Bond movie filmed with Sean Connery. Peak made the large acrylic fish tank bed featured in the film (and installed it on set!).
